Our Founders
Built from the ground up, SiteControl, Inc. was founded by Ken Setters and Jay Mercer, two professionals with deep roots in Heavy Civil Construction and specializing in Machine Control, GPS, and Laser Technology.
Jay Mercer is a Construction Engineer with nearly 30 years in the Machine Control, GPS, Laser, and Survey industry. He founded two Topcon Machine Control dealerships, leading efforts in sales, service, parts, and support across the western U.S.
Ken Setters brings over 30 years of experience as a Heavy Civil Dirt Foreman and Superintendent. A seasoned machine operator, Ken has been building and refining 3D models for over two decades—bridging field expertise with digital precision.
